A cozy stay with furry friends
Our experience at Isla Rose Cottage was truly delightful. We were warmly welcomed by the hosts who provided exceptional care and amenities, making both us and our dog feel at home. The breakfast spread was extensive and delicious, featuring a great variety of vegan options that exceeded our expectations. The room was not only well-appointed and impeccably clean but also thoughtfully stocked with snacks and beverages. Relaxing in the cozy sitting area felt just like home.
While we had an overall fantastic stay, it would have been helpful to have more detailed information about the nearby attractions upon arrival. A little more guidance could enhance the experience.

Traffic noise on the busy road was noticeable during the night, which could disrupt a good night's sleep. Although the room was clean, it felt a bit cramped due to the décor and lighting choices. A traditional Scottish breakfast would have been a more authentic experience than the Continental style served.

The hosts are incredibly welcoming, offering thoughtful extras that make you feel truly special. The room is not only spacious but also spotlessly clean, with a lovely private bathroom that's perfect for a solo traveller's comfort. Plus, the presence of their friendly dogs adds a warm, homey atmosphere.
I found the Wi-Fi connection a bit unreliable during my stay.

The double room was spotless but felt a bit cramped due to the décor and lighting choices. Traffic noise during the night could be disruptive, and the lack of a room key was concerning, as there was no safety for personal belongings. Breakfast was a delightful touch with fresh pancakes, but a traditional Scottish option would have been more authentic.
